Combines well with red clover for hot flushes.
Directions for Use
One teaspoon to one cup of boiling water. Brew for 10 minutes, strain and take up to twice daily. May be taken cold for hot sweats.
Precautions
Avoid in pregnancy and lactation. Do not exceed dosage and do not take therapeutic dosages for longer than a month at a time.
Notes on the Herb
Sage is a traditional remedy for hot flushes and menopausal problems. It will settle the digestion and is traditionally considered to be a herb of longevity. Strong sage tea is an ideal gargle for sore throats.
